Chicago PD might be streaming on Peacock in the United States, but it seems fans across the pond now have a new option to enjoy NBC’s long-running police drama!
The beloved One Chicago drama has found a streaming home on Prime Video UK, giving fans the chance to enjoy the hit series… or at least most of it. At the moment, Prime Video UK is home to the first ten seasons of Chicago PD, with the eleventh season of the series available to stream only via purchase.
It’s unclear why the show’s most recent season is not available for purchase, but baby steps, I suppose. Being able to stream the majority of Chicago PD’s seasons via Prime Video UK is sure to be welcome news for fans located in the UK who might otherwise be unable to stream the show. If enough viewers stream the show via Prime Video UK, it would seem likely that the service would work to get the most recent season for international viewers to enjoy.
If you, by chance, binge your way through all of the Chicago PD seasons available on Prime Video UK, there’s more good news for One Chicago fans. Prime Video UK is home to Chicago Fire and Chicago Med seasons as well.
At the moment, Prime Video UK has the first eight seasons of Chicago Med available to stream with a Prime membership. The ninth season is then available to purchase. Fans can also enjoy streaming the first ten seasons of Chicago Fire, with seasons 11 and 12 available to purchase.
Now is honestly the perfect time to binge-watch the One Chicago shows. All three shows are currently on their summer breaks, which is always a perfect time to rewatch the shows from the beginning, catch up on the shows if you fell behind, or begin your One Chicago journeys by diving into the shows. The best part is that we already know all three shows will be returning with new episodes coming our way in the fall when One Chicago Wednesdays continue.
Without getting into spoilers for the fans who might be watching for the first time via Prime Video UK (or on Peacock here in the US), let’s just say that the most recent seasons of each of the One Chicago shows ended with some major cliffhangers. You’ll definitely find yourself wanting more after watching, as the One Chicago writers know how to craft finales that keep fans talking!
