The One Chicago crossover was such a treat because it made a point of bringing together characters we don't usually get to see interact. Even if a given character had little to do within the larger story, the writers made sure to pair them with someone from another show to give their scenes a boost. It was a wise decision.
The franchise's cast members were obviously on set at the same time, and Chicago PD star Marina Squerciati decided to capitalize on this proximity with a One Chicago party! The actress took to IG on Monday to share photos from a bash she threw after the crossover completed production.
One Chicago's leading ladies celebrated the crossover
For the very first time, One Chicago fans got a chance to see every actress from PD, Chicago Med and Chicago Fire together. The talented ensemble posed for a group photo, as well as several extra photos during what appeared to be a fantastic party.
The aforementioned photos include Fire's Miranda Rae Mayo grinning at the camera while Med stars S. Epatha Merkerson and Jessy Schram pour drinks behind her. We also get to see the Chicago Fire medics Jocelyn Hudon and Hanako Greensmith posing in different photos.
Squerciati, the seeming ringleader, also cozied up to her PD co-star Amy Morton, who arguably had the most devastating storyline of any character during the crossover event. It was a treat to see all of these actresses having fun, and Squerciati had fun filling out the Instagram caption.

The PD star dropped in over a dozen hashtags, along with the description: "Great women. Great food. Great wine. Great night. (These photos are blurry and not IG perfect. Just friends having fun.)" Marina Squerciati has been part of the One Chicago family longer than most of her co-stars, and has always made a point of maintaining friendships offscreen.
Squerciati has posted photos alongside PD stars like Tracy Spiridakos and Jesse Lee Soffer well after they left the show. She's also gone on trips and posted photos hanging out with former Med actress Torrey DeVitto. Squerciati considers One Chicago stars to be part of her family, which is fitting given that her actual family got bigger in 2024.
On New Year's Eve, the actress took to Instagram to reveal that she'd recently given birth to a second child. "2024 was a BIG year for me, literally," she wrote. "I thought I handled being a pregnant working mom with grace."
