Did you know a Chicago Med alum has been stealing the show on FBI?

The actor has really come into his own during FBI season 7.

“Perfect” – The team is called in to track down a serial killer after the bodies of multiple women with the same physical description are found scattered across the city. Meanwhile, Maggie juggles her roles as a guardian to Ella and an FBI agent, on FBI, Tuesday, Dec. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs).

The Dick Wolf television universe is filled with familiar faces. You may not know the name of every actor who appears on an FBI show, but chances are you've seen them pop up for a supporting or perhaps even a leading role in a One Chicago or Law & Order show.

A lot of attention has gone to Jesse Lee Soffer, who made a sharp pivot from starring on Chicago PD to playing one of the lead agents on FBI: International. It's understandable, given how beloved Soffer became during his PD tenure. There's another One Chicago alum, however, who has been making waves in the FBI franchise.

Guy Lockard previously starred on Chicago Med

Guy Lockard has been utterly compelling during his arc on FBI season 7. The actor plays Clay Voss, a private security employee with ties to OA (Zeeko Zaki). The two characters go way back, but OA has a bit of skepticism as to whether Clay is helping or hindering the investigation.

Lockard previously played Dr. Dylan Scott on Chicago Med. The character was brought in to help fill in for cast departures in Med season 7, but his police backstory, coupled with a tragic season finale, led to the character departing himself in the season 8 premiere.

It's a shame, given that Dr. Scott previously worked as a member of Chicago PD. The character's unique experience with both police officers and doctors made him standout from his peers, and would have made him invaluable in a crossover setting. Unfortunately, Dr. Scott's stint was nowhere near as long as fans anticipated.

The good news is that Lockard is poised to play big role in FBI's mid-season finale, and the rest of season 7. Zeeko Zaki gushed about the actor during an interview with CinemaBlend, claiming that he was thrilled to be working alongside a fellow Dick Wolf veteran.

"They really nailed ," Zaki asserted. "And it was really fun to play and to start it off at the really high end of super excited to have my buddy back in the picture." The actor also felt that he was instantly able to find chemistry with Lockard during filming. "It was really great to sort of feel like that chemistry was there right off the bat," he added.

Guy Lockard previously appeared in an episode of FBI. He made a brief appearance in the season 2 episode "American Idol," but he played a different character named Len Barker. It's obvious, from only a few season 7 appearances, that the character of Clay is more important.
