FBI: Most Wanted completed its six-season run with a series finale that managed to conclude multiple story arcs and paving the way for closure in many of the main character arcs.
The case for the team involved a shooting at a protest. A new government oversight committee had been formed that was cutting other departments in an effort to reduce costs. One of the employees had been killed in a drive-by shooting, with the getaway driver being a former Department of Education employee who did not think anyone would be killed.
After the team found the shooter, who died after attempting to pull his weapon on Remy, the case seemed closed until a security guard in a secure building was murdered. In reality, two tech bros working for a government agency had been scheming to gain access to a federal server. Their goal was to gain access to a national cyber server and create a kill switch, and sell it to the highest bidder.
Despite being tech bros, criminal masterminds they were not. The team was able to track them down, with one ending up dead and the other surrendering once Remy and everyone found him in a church with a hostage. With the case finally solved, this meant we got to see how the characters finished off the series for good.
Nina had been able to help her sister leave her husband and even had a heart-to-heart with her dad, in which they mended their relationship. She also got to be the first to learn that Ray and his wife, Cora, were having a baby.
While the team was at Remy and Abby’s new restaurant, which was named The Muster, Hana also revealed that Ethan had left treatment after 90 days, and they were moving in together. Afterward, Remy revealed he had decided to retire to spend more time with Abby and to take care of the restaurant.
This meant there was a replacement needed for the Fugitive Task Force and this turned out to be Sheryll, who had been mulling a promotion in Washington D.C. Even though her decision to stay was a surprise, it’s fitting that someone so close to the team and so capable would be with them so they could continue working together as a team.
Even though we won’t get to see the Fugitive Task Force on screen anymore, since Nina has often appeared on FBI since she is with John Boyd’s Stuart Scola, maybe we will get some updates when that show returns.
