After navigating the single life during the previous episode, it’s all about “Plastic Surgery Week” on board the Odyssey this week. That means a lot of “perfect” faces, and Gershon’s character expects them all to be happy faces. That’s not going to be all that easy when there’s a medical emergency.

A contagion on the ship in Doctor Odyssey season 1, episode 3

The promo for the episode tells us that Gershon’s character is the wife of the owner of the Odyssey. That means everyone needs to be on their best behavior. They need to prove this ship runs the way the owner expects, and he’ll listen to his wife more than anyone else.

While the captain is navigating that, Max, Avery, and Tristan have a medical emergency to deal with. It sounds like there could be a contagion on the ship, and that means multiple other people could be infected. This could bring up some memories for Max, who we found out was Patient Zero in the pandemic.

Maybe it will be good for the owner’s wife to see what the doctor and nurses actually have to do on the ship. She strolls around expecting it to be some relaxing cruise, and she fails to see what the staff actually need to handle. That is as long as she doesn’t get infected as she walks into the ship hospital.

We also have some images for the episode, and they highlight another guest star. Justin Jedlica guest stars, but we have no idea who his character is. It looks like he’s making an impression on Max, though.

Jedlica made headlines by spending over $1 million on plastic surgery and has become known on the internet as the Human Ken Doll, a mantra he fully embraces. Given this week is Plastic Surgery Week on the Odyssey, it seems only fitting for Jedlica cameos in a guest role.
