Halloween arrives on Chicago Med.. and chaos strikes the ED

Halloween is coming early for Chicago Med fans!

With the One Chicago shows taking a break next Wednesday, tonight’s new episode will serve as the Chicago Med Halloween episode, and the creative team is not holding back with this year’s Halloween episode!

In “Bad Habits,” Halloween arrives and the spookiest night of the year brings quite a lot of chaos to the E.D. because, of course, Halloween would bring about if wave of wild cases!

As the synopsis for the episode teases, our favorite doctors will have plenty to keep them busy on Halloween and it seems tensions will be running high in the E.D. as Charles clashes with Jackie in the best course of action for a psych case. The synopsis also teases that Asher will work to help treat a pregnant woman with an autistic son.

Elsewhere in the episode, it seems Dr. Frost is going to have his hands full with a patient who comes in with what looks like a bat bite, and later lashes out and attacks Frost seeming to bite him in the arm hitting the show might be playing up the supernatural fun with a vampire element.

But don’t worry, the Chicago Med Halloween episode won’t be all trick with no treat! As teased in the first look photos from the episode, we’re going to get to see several of the doctors rocking some amazing Halloween costumes! We’ve got Asher and Ripley as Barbie and Ken, Maggie as a Chicago Blackhawks player, Charles serving up Sherlock Holmes vibes, and Frost donning a Minion costume!

Still, there is at least one character fans shouldn’t expect to see showing up in costume, and for good reason.

"I'll just tell you [Lenox] doesn't dress up for Halloween. Ok. She's not dressing up for Halloween, but you know, I get it, it's not like she's been welcomed with open arms and she's gonna let down her hair and dress up as a Golden Girl for Halloween. It's not a safe place for her right now and she's got her cards closer to the vest," Chicago Med star Sarah Ramos teased to One Chicago Center ahead of the Halloween episode.

It’s been a bit since we’ve had a truly over-the-top Halloween episode in the One Chicago Universe and we can’t wait to get into the spooky season spirit with what promises to be an amazing Halloween episode airing tonight at 8/7c on NBC!
