Severide and Pascal want to do the right thing in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 7. The problem is that this will put those close to them at risk.
They need to take down Bishop. Realizing that he is a dirty cop and is involved in an arson case, they need to find a way to prove it and put him away. Of course, Bishop has people on his side, and he will do whatever it takes to prevent himself from getting cause.
Pascal knows Severide is good at his job in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 7
I adore Pascal in the promo for the new episode. As it’s pointed out that arson is almost impossible to prove, Pascal nods to Severide and says “Not for him.” This is a man who knows how good Severide is at his job. He knows that arson is his calling.
It’s not surprising that he knows this. Every time Severide asked if he could step in and do a check, Pascal has allowed him to. There’s been no conversation about it not being Severide’s line of work. When you have someone who is good at proving arson, you put them in the right spot. And Pascal is showing that while he may be new and may not be the chief that Boden was, he notices things and supports his firefighters.
The problem is that it’s all going to put families at risk. Kidd clearly feels a threat coming from Bishop, and Pascal knows that this is how the dirty cops get to you. Are they both willing to do what it takes and see it through to the end?
Meanwhile, Mouch continues to study for the lieutenant exam. Cruz is going to step in and help him with this one, which is awesome to see. Will this lead to Cruz finally also deciding that it’s time to take the exam?
Check out the promo and synopsis for Chicago Fire season 13, episode 7:
"Pascal and Severide revisit the storage facility fire in hopes of uncovering new evidence; Cruz helps Mouch take his studying to the next level; Novak prepares a proposal for Chief Robinson for a whole blood program."

We have a few images of Severide and Pascal working together and at various stages of the investigation. I’m excited to see how all this plays out. This could be a chance for Severide to learn more about Pascal and see how Pascal can work with the rest of Firehouse 51.
We know from the synopsis that Novak is going to see Chief Robinson about a potential blood program. There is a shot of Novak talking to a patient, which could be the start of this potential program.
Chicago Fire airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC. Catch up the following day on Peacock.
