3 One Chicago stars who are willing to return to the franchise

We'd be curious to see how these reunions would work out.

One Chicago is entering a new phase as a franchise. All three shows will have crossed the ten season mark when they return in the fall, and all have recently gone through major cast changes. People have gone, and new characters have come in to fill their place. In the case of Chicago PD, there's yet to be a ruling on who will replace Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos).

That being said, the franchise has maintained a good relationship with most of its actors, and some of them have made it clear that they'd be open to reprising their characters at some point in the future. Here's a list of the most notable actors who could realistically return in 2024.

Jon Seda returning to Chicago PD as Dawson

Jon Seda has never strayed far from Chicago PD. The actor was starring on another NBC show, La Brea, but even with the production taking place in Australia, he found time to link up with One Chicago alum Jesse Spencer. He recently posted a photo alongside PD stars Jason Beghe and Benjamin Levy Aguilar, furthering the notion that he's around more often than we realize.

La Brea was recently canceled, which means Seda's schedule has opened up. There's also plenty to delve into regarding his character's past, and the issues he was dealing with last time he was seen.

Brian Tee returning to Chicago Med as Dr. Choi

Brian Tee seemed to be following the Jesse Lee Soffer game plan, which is to say, stop acting in front of the camera, but remain part of One Chicago as a director. Tee has directed a pair of episodes since he left Chicago Med, but he recently told TV Line that he'd want to come back as Dr. Ethan Choi in the event of a big storyline.

"It’s kind of one of those things that you never say goodbye to," he explained. "I think probably the hospital needs help. Some kind of tragedy is about to happen, some kind of major catastrophe drama. And maybe they bring back myself and Will Halstead and April." Not a bad pitch...

Kara Killmer returning to Chicago Fire as Brett

Kara Killmer is the most recent cast member to exit Chicago Fire, and her exit was a doozy. Her character, Sylvie Brett, married Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer) and moved to Oregon to start a family. Happily ever after. That doesn't mean Brett is done forever, though.

The character texted Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) a crucial message in the season 12 finale. And Killmer has made it clear that she loves the character, and would happily return for a cameo role in the upcoming season. "Oh, absolutely," she told NBC Chicago. "The door is wide open. Any time they wanna call, I will be there. It is a fantastic show, great people. I will come back any time they want."

Sounds pretty encouraging to us.

Next. S. Chicago PD just pulled off an insane cameo. dark
