9-1-1: Lone Star has been hit with some dramatic twists and turns over the years, but nothing compares to what season 5 seemingly has in store. FOX released the log line for the upcoming season, and it contained way more information than we would have guessed.

In addition to updates on who is staying and who is leaving 126, the network's log line provides information on where the main characters are headed, and what they will have to contend with as the season progresses. Here's what you need to know.

Let's get the bad news out of the way. Judd (Jim Parrack) is leaving 126. Per the log line, the veteran 9-1-1: Lone Star character is resigning in order to spend more time with his handicapped son, Wyatt (Jackson Pace). Judd's absence throws the rest of 126 into a bit of a tail spin. Obviously Owen Strand (Rob Lowe) is tasked with finding a replacement.

The problem is, two of 126's employees, are gunning for the lieutenant position. Paul Strickland (Brian Michael Smith) and Marjan Marwani (Natacha Karam) both decide to apply, which leads to a bit of in-house friction. It also, per FOX, forces Strand to make a "tough decision."

Things aren't going to less stressful for recently married couple T.K. Strand (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva). While they ended season 4 on a high note, the pair will be forced to deal with their first marital difference in season 5.

T.K. and Carlos also encounter marital problems

Evidently, Reyes becomes consumed with finding out who killed his father. This puts their marriage "to the test," and that's before T.K. gets paid a visit by someone from his past. Someone who could effectively ruin the life he's build with his husband.

Tommy Vega (Gina Torres) has arguably the least dramatic storyline in season 5, but there's still going to be some strife. The character will attempt to deepen her relationship with Pastor Trevor Parks (DB Woodside), but quickly discovers that things aren't as easy as she initially thought they'd be. Tommy runs into "obstacles" throughout the season, but if anyone can overcome them, it's her.
