911 season 7: No one has been confirmed to be leaving (but we can't rule out an exit)

As 911 moves to ABC for season 7, the full cast is expected to remain intact, but that doesn't mean there couldn't be a surprise exit.

9-1-1 - ABC's 9-1-1 stars Oliver Stark as Evan "Buck" Buckley, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Kendall, Kenneth Choi as Howie "Chimney" Han, Angela Bassett as Athena Grant, Peter Krause as Bobby Nash, Aisha Hinds as Henrietta "Hen" Wilson, Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz, and Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz. 911 might have a new home and be airing on a new night, but don’t fret because all of our favorite characters are back for the new season!

While the new season will be airing on a new network, ABC is keeping everything we love about 911 intact including the cast! Returning for season 7 are Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash, Peter Krause as Captain Bobby Nash, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, Oliver Stark as Buck Buckley, Aisha Hinds as Hen Wilson, Kenneth Choi as Howard ‘Chimney’ Han, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz, and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz.

We also know that we’ll get to see Anirudh Pisharody back as Ravi Panikkar, and are expecting to see the returns of many of the show’s recurring players including Corinne Massiah as Abby Clark, Tracie Thoms as Karen Wilson, John Harlan Kim as Albert Han, Bryan Safi as Josh Russo, Cocoa Brown as Carla Price, and Debra Christofferson as Sue Blevins.

Leading up to the season premiere, ABC did not announce any cast departures and no members of the cast have hinted that they might be leaving the show this season. We don’t anticipate any major exits; however, this is TV and we’ve learned to expect the unexpected.

911 season 7 could see a cast exit or two

While no cast member was confirmed to be leaving 911 leading up to the show, there is always the chance we could see a cast exit come at some point during the season ahead.

Compared to other series including its new Thursday night lead-out Grey’s Anatomy, 911 hasn’t seen too many changes to the show’s core cast but there have been a few bigger exits over the years. The best example is Connie Britton’s Abby Clark, who left the show unexpectedly after the show’s first season in which she was a series regular.

Most recently, we’ve seen Arielle Kebbel exit the show after a limited run as  Lucy Donato and Rockmond Dunbar departed the show after 5 seasons playing Michael Grant, though his exit was a bit more unique in nature.

911 is a show about fire responders who have found themselves in a number of dangerous situations over the years. We’ve seen several members of the 118 become injured on the job and face life-threatening brushes with death, but there are no guarantees in TV. Surprise exits are a common occurrence so while there are no signs of any exits coming, we can’t rule one out and will be keeping a close eye on spoilers and the cas’s Instagrams for any hints of possible exits.
