911 season 7 set to bring back fan-favorite character (see who's coming back!)

As 911 prepares to make its debut on ABC, fans can rest assured that all of their favorite 118 members will be present and accounted for including Anirudh Pisharody!

TVLine has confirmed that Pisharody will be coming back as Ravi and it sounds like he won't be the only character returning for the new season. showrunner Tim Minear revealed the new season will be "bringing back faces from even before Ravi. We’re bringing back a couple on the cruise ship that you’ll recognize from a previous episode. We like to go back to the fridge and see what the leftovers are and what we can make.”

Knowing Ravi will be coming back is an exciting confirmation as Ravi has become a fan-favorite character since his debut back in season 4. After debuting in a recurring role, Ravi took on a larger role in the fifth season becoming a regular member of the 118 before going MIA for most of the show's sixth season.

Ravi only appeared in five season 6 episodes, returning in the show's final five episodes after missing the rest of the season. While he was back in those final episodes including the finale, there had been no confirmation as to whether we'd be seeing Ravi back in season 7 but it seems we can rest at ease in knowing we will see him back in action as 911 moves to ABC.

It's going to be interesting to see how the show uses Ravi in season 7 and just how many episodes he'll end up appearing in, but we're hoping that the creative team will finally bring him back into the regular rotation. Ravi is such an amazing character and we absolutely adore Anirudh Pisharody. So there is nothing that we'd love more than to see Ravi get a proper storyline this season!
