Over the course of its 12 seasons, Chicago Fire has incorporated a few holiday hours but the holidays have always taken more of a backseat rather than being prominently featured within the main storylines. However, with Valentine's Day approaching, Chicago Fire has the chance to deliver not only its biggest holiday episode ever but also one of TV's best Valentine's Day episodes.

As fans found out in the season premiere, Brett accepted Casey's proposal and the pair are set to get married in Chicago before Brett moves to Michigan to be with Casey full-time. While Brett never gave an exact date for the wedding, she mentioned it was fast approaching and was about a month and a half away by the show's timeline.

Because this is the world of television, there's no telling when exactly Brett and Casey's wedding will roll around; however, we're really hoping the writers are about to throw the pair an over-the-top wedding on Valentine's Day.

Brett and Casey's Chicago Fire wedding needs to be a Valentine's Day episode

This year, Valentine's Day happens to fall on a Wednesday and we cannot think of a better way to celebrate Casey and Brett's love than on the most romantic day of the year.

Brett and Casey have long been one of the most beloved couples on Chicago Fire and the pair an episode that is all about celebrating their love. Regardless of whether their wedding happens to fall on Valentine's Day or not within the show, having the couple's wedding episode air on Valentine's Day would be an incredible way to celebrate the couple's love as a gift to fans.

A Brettsey Valentine's Day wedding episode would make for true event TV and would be an amazing way to celebrate these two incredible characters that fans have fallen and love with over the years.

While it's hard knowing that with their wedding's arrival comes the end of Kara Killmer's time on the show, the writers have the chance to give Killmer one of its greatest sendoffs ever. And if there is any character worthy of such an honor, it's Brett.
