Chicago P.D. preview: What to expect in season 11 episode 4

Torres Nation, it's your turn! After being absent for several weeks, Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) reclaims his spot in Intelligence as the finest addition in recent memory. Torres' absence has been noticeable with the show coming up with half-convincing explanations for his absence.

The Torres dry spell ends on Chicago P.D. season 11 episode 4 as he returns from furlough and immediately goes undercover.

A new player enters the Chicago drug scene

Every time the cops bust one drug dealer, another one rises to take their place and the latest target for Intelligence is Perez, an elusive cartel leader who the police had never been able to nab. In the episode promo video released by NBC, the team stumbles upon a sizeable amount of heroin, which sends them into an investigation about where such drugs could come from.

Their investigations point to the elusive drug lord but since they had never been able to arrest him on drug charges, Hank is not optimistic about their luck this time around.

However, everyone has a weakness and for the drug lord, it is his wife Gloria Perez (Yara Martinez).

Torres goes undercover

There won't be much time for Torres to lazy around and acclimate to the environment after being away for so long because duty calls.

Torres offers to go undercover in the drug organization with a direct target on Gloria hoping that she can hand them her husband.

Promo images show Torres and Gloria together in different circumstances but some of the images have them in an interrogation room, which means he succeeds.

Torres has several angles he can approach the problem but with his background in gangs and crime, he must have a trick or two about getting cartel wives to flip on their husbands. Is it the shared cultural background or his incredible good looks?

Ruzek returns to work

Things seem to be going well for Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) on the personal and professional fronts.

Ruzek got engaged to Burgess (Marina Squerciati) on Chicago P.D. season 11 episode 3, "Safe Harbor" and after struggling for a while with being out of work since his shooting, stars have aligned and he's back.

The episode will be the first time many of the cast members will be in the same episode this season as promo images feature everyone except Burgess.

There has been a focus on some characters at the expense of others and this episode promises to be Torres and Atwater-focused, with a little Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) and Hank Voight (Jason Beghe).

It looked like we might have lost Torres there for a minute when a new cop collaborated with Intelligence but thankfully those fears weren't confirmed.
