How to watch Chicago Fire season 12, episode 2 live online
Chicago Fire certainly had us worried going into the premiere episode. Fortunately, Mouch was fine and Gallo left in a positive way. Now we’re ready for Chicago Fire season 12, episode 2, and we’re worried about another character.
Actually, we’re worried about a couple of characters. The main one right now is Cruz, who is struggling with his place on Squad now that Severide is back. Cruz was great as acting lieutenant, but he is back in the position he was before Severide left.
Severide has no idea how Cruz worked when he was gone. All Severide knows is that the way he ran Squad before worked, and that’s what he’s going back to. It’s not so great that one of his team members is taking risks that he didn’t approve. However, Cruz sees it as a way of crushing his spirit, and he questions if Firehouse 51 is the right place.

Mouch is ready to change his nickname in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 2
While all that goes on, we will see some changes happen for Mouch. Almost losing his life has left him with some wishes for the future. He wants to make sure that he leaves a mark on the world. And he wants to do that with a change of nickname.
We saw Otis attempt to get rid of his nickname in the past, but that didn’t stick. I doubt a change of nickname for Mouch after all this time will stick, either.

We’re also concerned about Severide. He is ready to do more with arson. That’s where his heart lies, despite him trying to avoid it for so long. This is sure to cause trouble for his marriage to Kidd, who didn’t like that he was MIA for so long because of arson investigations.
"Mouch sets out to change his legacy and nickname; Ritter pushes Herrmann to see a doctor; Brett searches for the perfect wedding venue."
