Chicago Fire is back, and we couldn’t be happier. The series, like the other two One Chicago shows, took two weeks off from new episodes and we felt it.

The breaks are needed for scheduling reasons; we won’t deny that. That doesn’t mean we have to like the breaks, though! The good thing is that NBC brought us a promo, so we’ve had some things to get ready for when it comes to the storylines.

What to expect in Chicago Fire season 12, episode 7

The new episode will see Severide back. He and the rest of Squad 3 attend a fire where there is a stash of money under a bed. It’s clear this fire is likely arson. Could the money have something to do with it? A young girl comes to the firehouse asking for the money back otherwise there will be trouble.

The problem is the police department now has the money. Or at least, that’s the way the synopsis reads. Can Severide help this young girl?

We’ll also get to meet Violet’s new partner, and things aren’t going to go all that smoothly. When it comes to the more humorous storyline, it’s all about Mouch. He gets a parking ticket. Can Trudy help with this, or will she tell him that he has to pay it and learn his lesson?
