Chicago PD has really been dishing out one devastating twist after another. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) had to come to grips with losing a civilian victim that he felt a personal connection with, and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) discovered that an SVU detective she sought out was compromised on the job.

This week's episode, titled "Somos Uno", keeps the trend going. Instead of focusing on the veteran characters, however, the episode will shine a light on rookie cop Dante Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar), and the mess of a situation he's gotten himself into by choosing to sleep with an informant.

How to watch Chicago PD season 11, episode 9

The latest episode of Chicago PD airs tonight, which is Wednesday, April 3. You will be able to tune in at the usual time of 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. This means PD will air in its usual time slot, right after new episodes of Chicago Med and Chicago Fire.

What to expect in Chicago PD season 11, episode 9

The synopsis for "Somos Uno" reads as follows:

"Torres' personal involvement with an informant jeopardizes his safety and threatens to expose an undercover operation."

The promo, which you can check out above, reveals that the stakes are evn more dire than the synopsis makes it out to be. Torres is not only putting his career as a police officer on the line, but his very freedom. As Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) tells him, getting caught sleeping with an informant could be mean jail time.

To further complicate matters, Torres considers leaving his life with the IU behind and running away with his informant, which would guarantee jail time and put a target on the back of his head, given that the informant is married to a powerful drug dealer. Torres is going to have to make some tough decisions to come out of this week intact, and we hope he makes it.
