Meredith needs to confide in someone about Catherine in Grey's Anatomy season 21, episode 2 (Preview)

Catherine’s secret is coming out. Meredith learned the truth in the Grey’s Anatomy season 21 premiere, but she’s not allowed to tell a soul. How long can she keep the secret in Grey’s Anatomy season 21, episode 2?

Catherine not wanting her husband or son to learn about her cancer spreading is pretty normal. She doesn’t want to be remembered for her illness. There is still more work to do. However, there’s only so much a person can take, and this is a huge burden for Meredith.

She needs to tell someone, and there’s really only one person she can trust. Meanwhile, we’ll see Blue deal with his former relationship now that his ex-fiancee has returned.

Who will Meredith tell in Grey’s Anatomy season 21, episode 2?

The synopsis tells us that Meredith turns to Bailey for support in the new episode. Meredith knows that she can trust Bailey to mostly be a level-headed person. What she probably hasn’t realized is that Bailey wants her old job back. How far is Bailey willing to go to get that?

Bailey won’t want to mess up Meredith’s Alzheimer’s work, though. This now puts Bailey in a difficult situation, and she’ll likely turn to Ben for support.

At least, the assumption is Catherine's medical issues are getting on top of Meredith. It could just be that they continue to disagree over the research in Grey's Anatomy.

Meanwhile, Webber is taking a day out of the hospital with Lucas and Winston. They’re going to play gold for a bit based on one of the images from the episode. This is sure to bring up the situation at the hospital, and maybe even everything that is going on with the interns. Could we also get a little closer to finding out who Lucas’ mom is?

Blue has his own situation to deal with. His ex turned up during the previous episode. She’d looked through photos of the past and came across Blue. It’s clear that the two were more than strangers to each other, and she wants answers. It’s not going to be easy for Blue, but this could help bring him some closure after all these years.

Levi will also get some more screentime before he leaves the series. He meets the new chaplain at the hospital. Will the chaplain help him figure out which direction he should take in medicine now? The pressure is certainly on.

There is going to be some time spent on Catherine’s storyline. She is hiding a huge medical issue that is sure to kill her. It’s a selfish decision, especially considering the reason she doesn’t want to tell anyone. It’s also selfish to put all this on Meredith’s shoulders. Can someone get through to her?
