It seems like the One Chicago shows only just kicked off their seasons, but the time has come for the shows to sign off for the summer and we now know when the shows will be wrapping up their current seasons.

NBC has confirmed that Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD will all conclude their current seasons on Wednesday, May 22. The night will begin with the Chicago Med season 9, then Chicago Fire season 12 will wrap, and the night will end with the season 11 finale of Chicago PD.

Don’t worry though, while the shows will be ending their current seasons on May 22, all three One Chicago series will be coming back next year and it seems NBC is about to give fans plenty to talk about during the break!

One Chicago finale synopses tease major moments

In addition to confiming the season finale dates, NBC also offered up the official synopsis information for the final episodes of the season which tease a lot of major moments coming up for the three series!

On Chicago Med, Ripley and Charles will end the season treating a high-risk prisoner showing signs of dementia; Archer and Sean are about to be at odds over the treatment of a patient; and Crockett is about to receive some shocking news.

The Chicago Fire finale promises a potentially life-changing moment for Boden when he makes what is teased as a decision that “impacts the race for Deputy Commissioner.” Could it be that Boden is going to enter the race after all? We wouldn’t be surprised at this point and that would surely send ripples through 51 over what it could mean. The finale will also see Carver and Damon struggling with painful memories after a tense call, while Mouch struggles with adjusting to the new Truck.

As for Chicago PD, it’s time to finally say goodbye to Tracy Spiridakos as the show sends off Upton and it seems her exit will be connected to a “vital decision” she has to make. Elsewhere in the episode, Voight and the team must race against the clock to outsmart their prime suspect in a serial killer investigation.
