What is Violet and Carver's couple name on Chicago Fire?

The new romances on Chicago Fire are always the most fickle. We've seen couples hook up and split up in the span of weeks. The good news, of course, is that a lot of these couples eventually get back together and get married! The romances that drove the show for years, Stellaride and Brettsey, are secured, and we're all ready for a new one.

Enter Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) and Sam Carver (Jake Lockett). These two are an unlikely pairing in the best possible sense, and their flirtatious banter throughout season 12 has been a pro for many. They were adorable at the Brettsey wedding, and it's been a treat to see them develop deeper feelings for each other.

But as we all know, a great Chicago couple needs a great couple name...

Fans are still figuring out what to call Violet and Carver

One Chicago's official Instagram page reminded fans that Violet and Carver are the core romantic focus of the show right now. They posted a photo of the couple from the Brettsey wedding with the caption: "Find someone who looks at u the way Sam looks at Violet."

The comment section was filled with comments praising the couple, but several fans seem confused as to how to combine the names of both characters. Are we going to call them "Varver"? Perhaps a name like "Carvet?" The latter admittedly sounds like an order to carve something up, so maybe not. Here's a rundown of all the possible couple names that fans could use:

• Varver

• Samlet

• Vam (lol)

• Mikarver

• Carvami

"Varver" is the most popular choice

Some of these are immediately cuts, like Vam or Carvami. They just sound silly, which may be a plus to some but would be tough to constantly say or write. The trick seems to be combining the names "Violet" and "Carver," as opposed to the former's last name or the latter's first name.

This would, admittedly, break the format set by "Brettsey", but "Stellaride" is a prime example of combining a first and last name for maximum catchiness. By this metric, it looks as though "Varver" is the best option out of what we've been given. The least silly, and the one that rolls off the tongue easiest.
