Chicago PD teams up with an international detective this week. Here’s the official Chicago PD season 5, episode 13 synopsis and teaser.

After taking last week off, Chicago PD returns to NBC this Wednesday with a new episode and here’s what you can expect with the next episode’s synopsis as well as its promo.

Season 5, Episode 13 is called “Chasing Monsters” and features the Intelligence Unit working with a detective from El Salvador when a foreign drug cartel starts causing trouble in Chicago. But the cop might be just as much trouble as the drug dealers, so who do our heroes in Intelligence really trust? It wouldn’t be the first time we’ve dealt with dirty cops (hi, Denny Woods, we’re still looking at you).

This episode will possibly upset Brettonio fans, too, as it says that Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) is “getting close” to the newcomer. After Chicago Fire tried to throw a speed bump in with the whole Zach storyline, it seems like Chicago PD season 5 is going to do the exact same thing. Will there be a new flirtation for Antonio, just like Brett had a potential new date, or will Antonio just be the one who figures the truth out first?

But most importantly, how is this episode going to leave things—because this is the last new episode we have before the 2018 Winter Olympics!

"Antonio finds himself getting close to the Salvadoran detective, Marcella Gomez, only to learn she has a hidden motive for being in Chicago. Meanwhile, Voight learns that the body of his son’s killer has been found."
