February flashback: Chicago PD season 3, episode 13
Two years ago, Chicago PD hit the casino in Chicago PD season 3, episode 13. Look back at the episode in our February Flashback.
With Chicago PD taking most of February off for the Winter Olympics, we’re rolling back the clock and revisiting the Chicago PD episodes that previously aired this month.
Two years ago today the Intelligence Unit went to the casino, but it wasn’t to have a night out on the town. Instead, it was a high-rolling undercover operation.
Episode 13 of Chicago PD season 3 was called “Hit Me,” which is a well-known blackjack phrase, because this episode was about a string of attacks happening to women leaving a casino.
Intelligence sent in Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush) to see if they could draw out the perpetrator, who was another member of the Chicago Police Department!

Undercover episodes are always interesting on this show, because it’s fun to watch our heroes take on other personas that are usually so different from the way they normally look and act.
That was true in this episode, as Lindsay and Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) appeared to be living it up while they were working to bring the bad cop down.

While we were enjoying some Linstead undercover action, “Hit Me” also included some drama going on downstairs at the District. Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) had made up her mind to transfer out, but she was only leaving if Trudy Platt (Amy Morton) agreed to let her go, and everyone knew that would be a big ask.
The other half of Burzek was also in an uncomfortable position, as Mouse (Sam Hunt) thought that Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) needed to be fixed up. Erm, no. But between those two stories and Linstead getting out of the office, Chicago PD season 5, episode 13 was a lot of fun. Watch the original promo below:
