The next Chicago PD episode is delving into one of society’s most talked-about issues, so here’s what you can expect from Wednesday’s episode with NBC‘s official description and promo.

Wednesday’s episode is called “Anthem” and seems to be inspired by the topic of athletes being involved in protests. But instead of National Anthem protests, this Chicago PD season 5 chapter is about a basketball star who’s part of a rally opposing the police.

When that man later turns up dead, it’s up to Intelligence to find out who killed him even though it’s an uncomfortable situation. But this isn’t the first time our heroes have had to investigate someone or something that they may not agree with, so certainly they’ll find a way to get the job done.

What could possibly make it even more uncomfortable? Denny Woods (Mykelti Williamson) will be getting involved, too, because his daughter is somehow connected to the case. Since fans know that Woods already is closing in on Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), this will be an awkward crossroads. Does Woods ask for Voight’s help even as he’s one step away from bringing Voight down? And will Voight even want to help him?
