More from One Chicago Center

February 19, 2016: NBC officially announces development of a fourth One Chicago series.

Can you believe it’s been two years since we got the news that our fandom was expanding to four shows? Back in 2016, the working title was Chicago Law, but it would go on to be named Chicago Justice.

And while the show only lasted one season, you can still see Philip Winchester playing Peter Stone, now an Assistant District Attorney on Dick Wolf‘s other franchise series, Law & Order: SVU. Check out our interview with Philip Winchester about his new job here.

February 20, 2013: The Chicago Fire season 1 episode “Viral” airs.

Five years ago, Joe Cruz’s (Joe Minoso) spiral of self destruction reached a breaking point when his actions led to Mouch (Christian Stolte) being in a dangerous situation. And Leslie Shay (Lauren German) had an HIV scare when she was accidentally stuck with a homeless man’s needle, but she finally learned the tests were negative. She also learned her girlfriend was dumping her, so this wasn’t a good week for Shay.

February 21, 2017: The Chicago Fire season 5 episode “Purgatory” airs.

Firehouse 51 was scattered to the wind in this episode, as almost everyone was reassigned to other places thanks to Chief Anderson’s vendetta. The highlight was Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) confronting her chauvinistic former boss over his treatment of a female candidate, because Stella don’t play that. Plus, this happened:

February 22, 2017: The Chicago PD season 4 episode “Favor, Affection, Malice or Ill Will” airs.

Last year we had the winner for One Chicago episode with the most unwieldy title. But it was a good episode, as a grieving father looked for a hitman to avenge his daughter’s murder, and Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas) went undercover to get to the bottom of the case. Olinsky pulled the thread that found the real killer, and we’d like to think helped the father do some healing, even though it was a bittersweet ending.

February 23, 2015: The Chicago Med season 1 episode “Intervention” airs.

Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) found themselves at odds over the final, irreversible decision made by a patient suffering from a life-threatening heart condition in this episode from three years ago. Rhodes honored the patient’s wishes, but Choi was angry when he found out. Plus, “Intervention” also featured more trouble for Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss), who couldn’t get out of his own way. He still can’t, sometimes.

February 25, 2015: The Chicago PD season 2 episode “What Puts You On That Ledge” airs.

Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) was forced to make some tough choices three years ago when he went undercover in an attempt to find a missing officer that Narcotics had deep undercover with a robbery crew. Plus, our patrol officers still couldn’t catch a break, and we all thought Linstead was over…for about 30 seconds.
