Ethan Choi, Chicago Med

Our candidate for President of the United States from the Chicago Med party is Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee). What makes Choi our favorite candidate out of all the doctors and nurses at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center? It’s because throughout Chicago Med season 2 and into Chicago Med season 3, Choi has shown himself to be a leader at the hospital—so we certainly think he’d have the mettle to lead the United States.

While his tenure as Chief Resident got off to a chaotic start, Choi proved to be the stabilizing force all of last season. As everyone else at the hospital broke down or lost their way, Choi held himself together and helped to hold the team in one piece as well. He was the cool head in almost every situation, only letting himself fall apart when the crisis of the week was over. That’s the kind of level-headed thinking we’d want from a President of the United States.

Choi has also demonstrated that he’s a good supervisor. His girlfriend April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) might not like it, but he doesn’t let her brother Noah (Roland Buck III) get away with anything. He wants the best out of everyone he works with, which is an important quality if you’re going to be in charge of the whole country. Hopefully no one tries to discredit him by pointing out that he looks just like a criminal we’ve seen before.
