What will Chicago Med do with Dr. Sarah Reese? What about Noah? Look forward to tonight’s episode with our Chicago Med season 3, episode 11 preview.

Tonight’s Chicago Med focuses on Dr. Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo), so what will we learn about her past? And could it impact her future?

Chicago Med season 3, episode 11 is called “Folie A Deux,” and its main storyline involves the fact that Reese’s estranged father (guest star Michel Gill) is at the hospital.

But not only does he turn up as a patient of the week, he’s a patient of her boss Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt), and he hasn’t told his daughter.

So there are about four different ways this can go wrong.

Chicago Med is no stranger to telling stories about fathers and their children. We’ve seen the bad blood between Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and his dad, and last season the acrimony between Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and his dad.

So now it’s Reese’s turn, and what’s going to be different about her also not great relationship with her father that we haven’t seen before?

The X-factor here is that Reese’s dad is coming to the man who’s been like a surrogate father to her, and we could see some interesting compare and contrast between the two.

Will Reese’s dad tell Dr. Charles things about her that Charles may want or need to know? Will Dr. Charles tell Mr. Reese all the difficulties that Sarah has been having recently? After all, this wasn’t that long ago:

Another story in this Chicago Med episode involves someone fairly close to Reese: Noah Sexton (guest star Roland Buck III), who gets in trouble when he misdiagnoses a patient and that causes the cardiothoracic surgery team to have to spring into action.

Seriously now, how many more times can Noah screw up before he actually gets held responsible for his mistakes? He hasn’t seemed to grow up much at all, and though we thought he might after this happened, the fact that this subplot exists would prove otherwise. This idea is played out, and so we’re curious to see if the hammer finally drops in “Folie A Deux.”

Or, since he’s positioned as Reese’s love interest, could the two of them bond over their respective bad days? We’ll find out tonight.
