Dick Wolf’s unscripted series have been renewed by Oxygen as the network ordered new seasons of Criminal Confessions and Cold Justice on Monday.

While NBC hasn’t made a decision on any of his scripted shows yet, Dick Wolf is staying in the unscripted TV business.

Oxygen—NBC’s sister channel and another part of the NBCUniversal family—announced on Monday that it had ordered Cold Justice season 5 and Criminal Confessions season 2, both of which will air later this year.

Specific premiere dates, as well as the number of episodes in each season, weren’t included in Monday’s press release.

The renewals are not a huge surprise, because Oxygen had touted Dick Wolf’s involvement ever since it rebranded as a true-crime network last year.

Cold Justice, which had previously run on TNT for its first three seasons, follows ex-prosecuting attorney Kelly Siegler as she and a team of investigators (who rotate through episodes) dig into various cold cases.

You can read One Chicago Center’s interview with Kelly Siegler about the Cold Justice revival here.

“This is the only TV show that has ever existed, or will ever exist in my opinion,” she told us, “that actually takes unsolved murder cases and solves them during the time we’re in the town and airs it on TV.”

Criminal Confessions was a new Dick Wolf series created specifically for Oxygen. As the title indicates, it’s a reality series that focuses on cases where police were able to extract confessions—and takes TV viewers inside the interview room to show how it happened.
