Stella and Severide, Chicago Fire

RELATIONSHIP STATUS: GOOD

Status update: After a season and a half of going around in circles, Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) finally coupled up again after Stella’s almost being shot in the season’s two-hour movie event prompted Severide to make a move. We hope Herrmann never found out that they were making out on top of the bar at Molly’s.

Their season wasn’t without relationship drama, though, as they both had other relationships that kept them apart from each other in the first part of the season. Severide jumped into bed with the newcomer—and schemer—Hope Jacquinot (Eloise Mumford), while Stella about fell over herself at the sight of Hazmat officer Zach (Daniel Di Tomasso).

Hope’s true intentions toward Severide were revealed when she managed to briefly get Stella transferred out of the firehouse and she was promptly fired, while Stella’s relationship with Zach cooled after it was clear she just wasn’t that into him after all.

Stellaride also survived the return of Kelly’s first love interest Renee Royce (Sarah Shahi) and Stella’s decision to move out of his apartment after freaking out over his Vegas marriage, so if they can get through all that, we have high hopes for them going into Chicago Fire season 7.
