Chicago Med’s Patti Murin will be performing with the Frozen: The Broadway Musical cast during Sunday’s 2018 Tony Awards ceremony.
It’s Tony Awards tradition to feature performances from each of the productions that have been nominated for the coveted Best Musical award. That includes Frozen, which means we’ll get to see Patti performing in her role as Princess Anna.
Need to know how to watch the Tony Awards? They start at 8 p.m. ET (and time-delayed for all other time zones) tonight on CBS.
We don’t have a specific time when the Frozen performance is happening, but it will definitely be a memorable night and a high point in the One Chicago history books.
Ahead of the performance and the reveal of whether or not Frozen will be named Broadway’s best musical, CBS produced a featurette about the play that you can watch below:
While CBS didn’t announce in their press release what number from Frozen the cast is doing for the Tonys, whatever the selection is it’s bound to be a great piece of entertainment—and it’s also a chance for those who can’t make it to New York, to see Patti and her co-stars in action.
Aside from Frozen: The Broadway Musical‘s nomination for Best Musical, one of the surprising snubs from the 2018 Tonys was that Patti Murin and Caissie Levy didn’t also get individual nods for their work as Anna and Princess Elsa respectively.

But getting to perform at the Tony Awards is still a very cool achievement and one that will put them in front of millions of TV viewers tonight. Check out this awesome photo that Patti posted on Instagram from rehearsals:
