One Chicago shows & stars overlooked by Emmys once again
By Cody Schultz
Despite another strong season, NBC’s One Chicago shows and their stars were snubbed once again by the Emmy voters this year.
After months of anticipation, the nominations for the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were revealed during a live ceremony led by actors Samira Wiley and Ryan Eggold and, unfortunately, the One Chicago franchise was yet again shut out.
Hot off yet another round of incredible seasons, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med failed to secure any nominations this year, nor did any of the One Chicago franchise’s incredible actors or actresses.
While the One Chicago franchise was yet again wrongly overlooked by the Television Academy, actress Edie Falco managed to secure a well-earned nomination for her work in Dick Wolf’s Law and Order: True Crime – The Menendez Brothers!
