Thursday, July 19
Jeff Hephner (Jeff Clarke on Chicago Fire and Chicago Med) will appear to promote his next role in the new season of NatGeo’s series Mars.
His panel is entitled “When Earthlings Become Martians: National Geographic’s Mars, Season 2” and takes place at 11 a.m. in Room 7AB at the San Diego Convention Center.
Hephner, co-star JiHae, and several scientific experts will not only give a sneak peek at Mars season 2 but also talk about some of the real considerations that will go into humanity colonizing Mars.

Stella Maeve (Nadia DeCotis on Chicago PD) is appearing to promote her current series, SyFy‘s The Magicians. The show will have its own panel at 7:00 p.m. in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel, next door to the Convention Center.
Maeve, co-stars Olivia Taylor Dudley, Hale Appleman, Summer Bishil, and Jason Ralph, and the show’s executive producers Sera Gamble and John McNamara will participate. They’ll provide a first look at The Magicians season 4 and take questions from the fans.
Also on Saturday and also in the Indigo Ballroom, Lauren German‘s current series Lucifer will be represented at the TV Guide Fan Favorites panel, taking place at 5 p.m. While Lauren herself won’t be at Comic-Con 2018, her colleague Tom Ellis will be there, talking about the show’s move from FOX to Netflix.
And it’s a good bet that fans will learn something involving Lauren’s character Chloe Decker, since the show’s season finale cliffhanger involved Chloe finally seeing Lucifer as The Devil.
So if you’re a Chicago Fire fan who’s been watching Lucifer, you’ll want to see that panel just to find out if any hints get dropped—and because Comic-Con doesn’t usually ask people to leave between panels, you can possibly stay there until the Magicians panel starts at 7 p.m.
