Chicago Med season 4 character preview: Sarah Reese

What will happen

There should be a fair amount of screen time for Rachel DiPillo in the Chicago Med season 4 premiere, since there will have to be resolution about Robert’s fate and Reese coming to terms with everything about her father.

However, that will likely be a continuation of what we saw last season: a Reese who’s acting from impulse, who’s understandably upset but also lets that emotion dictate how she responds. A lot of what she’s been doing has been reacting to the things happening around her before she can fully process them. She makes judgments without seeing the entire situation (or at least as much of it as she can) and that works against her.

And with even more about to happen to her, she’ll probably have an even bigger reaction. She will most likely be upset again at Dr. Charles for not being completely forthcoming about what he had discovered, even though hopefully she’ll also understand there’s no easy way to tell someone that their father killed someone.

When Reese gets upset, too, she tends to pull away, so it would be no surprise at all to see her pull back more than ever in the face of the new bombshells. One of our season four predictions is that she leaves the hospital.
