Chicago PD’s Patrick John Flueger stars in new Dick Wolf movie

Patrick John Flueger has a new movie coming next month, and it’s produced by One Chicago franchise creator Dick Wolf!
Flueger, who stars on Chicago PD as Adam Ruzek, is one of the stars of an upcoming thriller entitled The Super.
He plays Phil Lodge, a former cop who moves with his daughters into a Manhattan apartment building when he accepts a position working as the building’s superintendent. But of course, the place is not at all what it appears to be.
A teenager suddenly goes missing, and then other tenants seem to disappear as well. Phil naturally becomes suspicious, and begins to believe that a serial killer is somewhere in the building. But who could it be?

The movie co-stars Val Kilmer (Top Gun, Batman Forever) as Walter, and given Kilmer’s history in movies, it’s probably a safe bet that Walter is the murderer. Or at the very least, he’s got a secret or two to hide.
But based on what Patrick John Flueger has done on Chicago PD, he’ll be a great fit for this cat and mouse game.

Flueger has five-plus seasons of experience playing a cop, and with everything Adam Ruzek has been put through, he certainly will know how to play all of the inevitable scenes where Phil is scared, or thinks he’s paranoid, or gets upset if/when the killer goes after his kids.
What makes The Super even more interesting for One Chicago fans is that Dick Wolf is one of the producers. Watch the movie’s trailer below and see what you think about it:
Where can you watch The Super? The film is not being released to every theater; instead, it will get a limited release. It opens in select movie theaters in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco on Friday, Oct. 19.
In Los Angeles, it will screen at AMC Rolling Hills; in New York it will play at Village East. For tickets and to find out where it’s available in the other cities, you’ll have to check Fandango.
If you’re not in any of those cities, The Super will also be available on demand, on the same day it hits theaters. Which VOD platforms weren’t specified in the movie’s press release, but keep your eye out on websites like iTunes and Amazon Video.
