FBI season 1, episode 2 preview: Green Birds
Can the FBI uncover who’s poisoning people? Watch a sneak peek from tonight’s episode of the Dick Wolf drama in our FBI season 1, episode 2 preview.
A new episode of FBI airs tonight on CBS, so One Chicago Center is giving Dick Wolf fans an early look with a scene from the episode.
Tuesday’s episode is called “Green Birds” and begins as the Federal Bureau of Investigation gets involved in a potential serial murder case.
Multiple people have died after eating at the same diner—so is it just the world’s worst case of food poisoning, or is someone intentionally trying to kill them? And if so, is it personal or just a suspect determined to kill as many people as possible?
Those are the questions in front of agents OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) and Maggie Bell (Law & Order: SVU alum Missy Peregrym).

Aside from the case of the week, “Green Birds” will be worth watching for the first appearance of a new main character.
The episode introduces Zidan and Bell’s new boss, Special Agent in Charge Dana Mosier, portrayed by actress Sela Ward (familiar to CBS viewers for her work as Jo Danville on CSI: NY).
Mosier replaces Ellen Toy, the character played in the pilot by Connie Nielsen (Law & Order: SVU). Nielsen was let go from FBI after the pilot episode was shot, and a new character was created for Ward.

So who is Dana Mosier, and how will she fit into this new team whom TV audiences have just met? Ward is a well-known and well-liked actress, but viewers still have to see who her character is, and are still trying to get to know all the characters on this show, as well.
But she and her team are getting a very strange case to start off with. Click below to watch a scene from tonight’s FBI and then tune into the full episode tonight at 9 p.m. on CBS.
