What should fans watch for in this week’s Chicago PD? Get ready for tonight’s episode with our Chicago PD season 6, episode 4 preview.

The next Chicago PD episode could start another argument if someone’s not careful. Or will it finally force Intelligence to pull themselves back together?

Wednesday’s installment is called “Ride Along,” and if fans look at the photos that were released for this episode, the overall mood of One Chicago’s cops is uneasy at best.

Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) and Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) seem like they’d still rather be anywhere but working together.

And let’s not forget that we’re only two episodes removed from Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) fighting with his partner Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos).

To be fair, Jay’s outbursts came when he was in an emotional state due to the death of his father, but it’s still pretty clear that things in Intelligence are not that great.

Eventually everyone’s going to need to settle their issues and move on, because there are always cases that need to be handled no matter how upset you are.

But until then, how long will they fight? And will it start to get in the way of their work?

Even when Ruzek and Antonio slugged it out, it didn’t affect the viability of their case, but it would be really easy for tension to cause a mistake. If one person is distracted, or decides to disobey orders, or anything like that, we could see a bad guy get away.

This would be a perfect time for Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) to step in, so it’s a good thing that “Ride Along” is a Burgess-centric episode.

Remember when Burgess used to be the sunny, shiny, happy person on Chicago PD? She’s not quite so peppy anymore now that she’s moved upstairs, but she’s still got a better disposition than most of the other characters.

This team is in desperate need of a morale boost, and if anyone’s going to do that, it’ll be Kim Burgess. However, this episode also sounds like it won’t be great for her because she’ll have to choose a side of her own, so…let’s hope everyone makes good decisions this week!
