One Chicago ratings report: Week of November 7
Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD ratings are in for the latest episodes. Here’s the Nov. 7 edition of the One Chicago Ratings Report.
With another week of the One Chicago season in the books, it’s time for another look at the franchise’s TV ratings with the One Chicago Ratings Report.
This week was an impressive week for the One Chicago franchise, as two of the three shows moved past the 8 million live viewer mark for only the second time this season.
The evening started off with Chicago Med bringing in 8.395 million people, which was a gain of more than 700,000 from last week’s 7.69.
The show also added an extra point amongst adults 18-49 to get back to its usual 1.2 share in that demographic.

Those numbers were enough to make Chicago Med the most watched program on broadcast TV for this Wednesday!
It was over CBS‘s Survivor (7.64 million) by a sizeable margin, though the reality show’s 1.6 stll made that the most popular show among the 18-49 age group.

In the middle spot, Chicago Fire wasn’t far behind. It also passed the 8 million mark, bringing in a total of 8.23 million viewers watching live.
That’s up by 320,000 (so a little more than half of what Chicago Med picked up this week). That figure made it the second most-watched show on the five broadcast networks for the evening.
Its 1.3 demographic score was the highest of any One Chicago show, but still only good enough to tie for fourth place with ABC‘s sitcom The Goldbergs. That just goes to show you how competitive it is in that 18-49 demo and why it’s so coveted!
That brings us to Chicago PD, which unfortunately did not experience the same lifts that its sister shows did. It was the only series to lose audience members this week, although luckily it wasn’t a big loss.
This week’s episode dropped from 6.95 million live viewers down to 6.875 million, which was a loss of 75,000. Its 1.1 share was also the smallest demo number, tying it for seventh place with FOX‘s Star and ABC’s American Housewife.
It’s not a giant plunge in the numbers, but the fact that Chicago PD took another slip in viewers while Chicago Med and Chicago Fire were gaining numbers is a definite red flag.
It’s not keeping pace with the other two programs this season, so will NBC be concerned or let it slide since the franchise as a whole is doing very well? Let’s see what happens next week with a holiday on the horizon.
