Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago PD ratings are in for the latest episodes. Here’s the Nov. 14 edition of the One Chicago Ratings Report.

With another week of the One Chicago season in the books, it’s time to take another look at the franchise’s TV ratings with the One Chicago Ratings Report.

One Chicago was knocked off the top spot this week because of ABC broadcasting the Country Music Association Awards, which was the most-watched program on all of broadcast TV, in both total viewers and among adults 18-49.

That left the other four networks in a fight for second place, and NBC was able to bring in the second largest total audience with a night of Chicago-themed originals.

But with over 10 millon people watching the CMA Awards live, it’s no shocker that the ratings for One Chicago went down this week.

More from One Chicago Center

Chicago Med reported 7.5 million people watching live, which was down 895,000 from last week’s more than 8 million viewers.

It was also down slightly from two weeks ago, when the show achieved a 7.69 (a difference of 190,000).

Chicago Med held steady in the adults 18-49 group with a 1.2 share, which was equal to what it got for last week’s episode.

It was the top series in the 8 p.m. hour by about 300,000 over CBS‘s Survivor, which had 7.19 million people watching live.

Chicago Fire had 7.29 million people tuning in at 9 p.m. for a decrease of 940,000 viewers. That was the biggest drop of the evening, but still good enough to make Fire the third most-watched show on Wednesday night.

It also showed no change in the demographic, once again getting a 1.3 share among adults 18-49, which was on par with last week.

What about Chicago PD? Well, it continues to have the smallest audience of the three One Chicago dramas, but perhaps because of that, it also lost the least amount of viewers this week.

It scored 6.01 million audience members at 10 p.m. which was a loss of 865,000 people. Among the adults 18-49 demo, it also slipped from a 1.1 to a 1.0 share.

There’s not too much to be gained from this week’s One Chicago ratings, because any time there’s a major live event like sports or an awards show, those programs usually dominate the night and skew the overall ratings.

Every Chicago program took a hit this week through no fault of its own, and with the Thanksgiving holiday coming up next week, it’ll be a while before we even see them on the air, let alone see how much they rebound. They still did pretty good numbers on Wednesday, so that’s something to be proud of.
