Chicago Fire alum Monica Raymund is officially coming back to TV, as her Starz pilot has been picked up, with a name change.

Fans of Monica Raymund got great news this week, as her new TV series was officially picked up by Starz for a first season—with an important change.

The Chicago Fire actress is the star of Hightown, which changed its name from P-Town, possibly because the other show Starz ordered Monday just altered its name to P-Valley. The network is likely trying to avoid any confusion or suggestion that the series are connected.

Hightown stars Monica Raymund as Jackie Quinones, a Marine Fisheries Services Officer whose own “hard-partying” life is complicated when she discovers a dead body on the Massachusetts beach.

According to the network’s press release, the first season will start filming in March. The series premiere date hasn’t been announced, nor has any additional casting.

But the list of executive producers is impressive. Starz announced on Monday that filmmaker Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman (the CSI franchise), KristieAnne Reed (CSI: Cyber) and Gary Lennon (the upcoming HBO series Euphoria) are producing Hightown alongside series creator Rebecca Cutter (Gotham).

It’s a quick turnaround for Raymund, whose last episode as a regular on Chicago Fire aired in May. She was cast as the star of Hightown in September, the same month she returned in the Chicago Fire season 7 premiere to give Gabriela Dawson a final sendoff.

Dawson returned to Chicago only to tell husband Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) that she had been offered a full-time position in Puerto Rico. The two divorced off-screen, and Casey has now moved on to flirt with reporter Naomi Graham (guest star Kate Villanova).

While those two plot developments would seem to put the kibosh on Gabriela Dawson making any future appearances on Chicago Fire, unless she turns up to complicate any future relationship between Casey and Naomi, at least the many Dawson fans have a pretty cool consolation prize.

They will get to see Monica Raymund back on TV on a weekly basis—and playing a part that is completely different from the hard-charging paramedic. You’ll need a Starz subscription to watch it live, but 2019 isn’t that far away!
