Here’s where to watch An Acceptable Loss this weekend

An Acceptable Loss, the film written and directed by Chicago Fire’s Joe Chappelle, opens in more theaters tomorrow. Find out where you can watch it.

If you haven’t seen An Acceptable Loss yet, the new movie from Chicago Fire alum Joe Chappelle is expanding into more movie theaters this weekend.

More than a dozen new theaters around the country have picked up the film, which was written, directed and executive produced by Chappelle—the longtime Chicago Fire director and producer who helmed numerous important episodes, including the show’s 100th episode.

One Chicago alums Jeff Hephner, David Eigenberg and Alex Weisman also have roles in the film, so if you’re a fan of the One Chicago franchise, there’s really no reason not to see the movie this weekend.

And now, with the movie rolling out to additional venues around the country, there’s even more places to enjoy it. Among the new markets are San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and San Antonio.

An Acceptable Loss stars Tika Sumpter, Jamie Lee Curtis and Ben Tavassoli in a political thriller. When former government advisor Libby Lamm (Sumpter) decides to speak out about her role in a controversial decision, she puts herself in the crosshairs of her former colleague (Curtis).

Tavassoli portrays a graduated student who gets enmeshed in Libby’s struggle, while Hephner plays Adrian, the political operative whose mission is to deal with Libby. You can read more about his role in the movie through our interview.
