Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med will be taking the week off as NBC has scheduled repeats for all three One Chicago shows this Wednesday.

Bad news for One Chicago fans: there won’t be any new episodes this week. NBC has opted to air reruns instead of new episodes on Jan. 30, with no official reason given by the network.

It’s an odd week for broadcast TV, as many series were scheduled to be in repeats or completely off the air on Tuesday, Jan. 29 thanks to the State of the Union. But that shouldn’t necessarily have any effect on Wednesday, so it’s anyone’s guess what’s happening here.

Maybe NBC has decided to change their strategy for the whole week due to the (now-postponed) State of the Union, or maybe it’s just them sliding in one of the many reruns that are used so that networks can stretch their seasons from September through to May.

The good news is that Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD will all still be showing, even if they’re episodes that fans have already seen.

The Chicago Med repeat is this season’s seventh episode, “The Poison Inside Us.” In this episode, Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) is targeted by the widower of a former patient seeking revenge—which leaves Choi fighting for his life and the entire ED needing to be evacuated.

The repeat of Chicago Fire is also episode seven from this season, “What Will Define You.” That episode is focused on Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) as he plans his father’s funeral, while the other members of the firehouse go on a mission to recover one of Benny Severide’s medals before the service.

Wednesday night will conclude with the Chicago PD installment “True or False,” which is actually episode six from that season. This is the episode where Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) reveals a painful secret from her childhood while trying to get through to a suspect.

New episodes of One Chicago resume next week, on Feb. 6 in their regular time slots. Fans who are still in need of more episodes to watch can stream the five latest episodes for free anytime on Hulu.
