Chicago Med season 4, episode 14 preview: Can’t Unring That Bell
What should fans watch for in this week’s Chicago Med? Get ready for tonight’s episode with our Chicago Med season 4, episode 14 preview.
Some of what One Chicago fans will see in tonight’s Chicago Med is familiar, almost too familiar. But what’s going on with the rest of it?
The first two subplots are ones that have been going on for a long time now and are beginning to wear out their welcome. Yes, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) still has issues and those issues are still causing problems in the rest of his life.
At this point, you almost have to feel for Will—has he had anything good happen to him all season? Even when he got engaged, that happened off-screen. The rest of the fourth season has just been drama, angst and nearly getting killed.
So here Chicago Med fans have more Manstead speed bumps. And with this episode also having the return of Ian Harding as Philip, the guy Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) started bonding with, what are the odds the show goes for yet another love triangle?

After all, Natalie did give back Will’s engagement ring last week and told him goodbye, so technically their relationship is over.
It’s also business as usual for Dr. Ava Bekker (Norma Kuhling), who survived her HIV scare last week and is still trying to fix her own relationship. How many times is she going to try before she gives up?
Or is the show going to have something else happen to her that makes Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) forget how angry he is?

There are some new developments around the hospital, though. Picking up a story that was part of last week’s episode, Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) makes a drastic decision to help the cousin of an old acquaintance. Maggie hasn’t gotten a lot of screen time in a few weeks, so it’ll be good to see Marlyne Barrett take center stage and see how her character moves forward.
Also, Dr. Daniel Charles (Oliver Platt) has made a new friend! Is it related to the online dating plot Chicago Med viewers saw earlier this season? That could be interesting, and perhaps give us one romantic relationship on this show that’s reasonably healthy.
