FBI repeat scheduled for March 19
FBI fans will have to wait for the next new episode as an FBI season 1 rerun is planned this week. Find out what CBS has in store here.
The One Chicago franchise isn’t the only Dick Wolf property taking some time off. FBI is also not new this week.
According to the network’s official primetime schedule, the CBS drama is airing a repeat episode in its normal Tuesday 9 p.m. time slot. Fans will get a second airing of the season’s tenth installment, called “A New Dawn.”
The episode focuses on Special Agent OA Zidan (Zeeko Zaki) as his sister Amira (guest star Cynthia Hamidi) is recruited to help the Bureau investigate a murder at her college.
Veteran TV actor Dennis Boutsikaris guest stars in the installment, which originally aired back on Jan. 22.

CBS hasn’t given any official reason for not showing a new episode on Tuesday, but this could be a help for many fans because the original airing was more than a bit hectic.
“A New Dawn” was one of the episodes that got shuffled around when the State of the Union was scheduled, then cancelled, then scheduled again for a week later.
It’s entirely possible that some viewers may have missed it the first time because of the confusion.

The repeat isn’t necessarily out of the ordinary, either, as CBS has juggled a combination of new episodes, reruns and preemptions since FBI returned at the start of the year.
This marks the fourth time a repeat has been shown in the show’s normal time slot, while other reruns have aired on other days and times—last Tuesday, for example, had back-to-back repeats at both 9 and 10 p.m.
The good news for FBI enthusiasts, though, is that CBS is expected to air new episodes at least the next two weeks in a row. That makes this the perfect time to catch up with the existing ones, either via CBS on Demand, CBS All Access, or iTunes.
