Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

FIRST RESPONDERS LIVE (premieres June 12; Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on FOX): This reality series is produced by Dick Wolf, and will appeal to fans of the One Chicago series because it documents the work of the real police, firefighters and paramedics. Camera crews will follow units around the country (though FOX hasn’t announced where yet). This will fill in nicely once Chicago Fire finishes its season in May.

LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT (Thursdays at 10 p.m. on NBC): Dick Wolf’s other franchise continues its landmark 20th season on Thursday nights, with former Chicago Justice star Philip Winchester as Assistant District Attorney Peter Stone. Though the series was recently picked up for a 21st season, Winchester has confirmed that he’s leaving the show after this season ends. No word yet on who will replace him as the show’s prosecutor.

There is not a One Chicago-related series airing on Friday nights yet, but you may be able to find reruns of both SVU and Chicago PD on your local channels, or on NBC’s sister stations Oxygen and USA. Both shows are in repeats throughout most of the week, in addition to their new episodes in their regular time slots.

You can also bring up reruns of the entire franchise on demand, either by streaming free on Hulu (limited episodes are available of Chicago Fire, and current seasons of Chicago Med and Chicago PD), or clicking the link above to see the NBC lineup on Fubo. So there are still options on Friday!
