Chicago Med season 4, episode 20 preview: More Harm Than Good
What should fans watch for in tonight’s Chicago Med? Get ready for More Harm Than Good with our Chicago Med season 4, episode 20 preview.
The doctors’ personal problems continue to become professional issues in this week’s Chicago Med, so if you’re looking for more relationship or family drama, this episode will be right up your alley.
“More Harm Than Good” is driven primarily by some of the same storylines that One Chicago fans have been following throughout the fourth season. There’s also a case of the week that involves a crossover appearance from Chicago PD, but most of this is familiar territory.
There’s Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) being uncomfortable with his ex-fiancee’s new boyfriend, but could he have an actual reason beyond pure jealousy?
There’s Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) having to treat his sister’s boyfriend and father of his nephew, as fans have already seen in an earlier episode this season. Could this time also include Bernie’s wife and daughter showing up in the Emergency Department?

And there’s Dr. Connor Rhodes (Colin Donnell) accusing his ex-girlfriend of something. Is this the week he finally confronts Dr. Ava Bekker (Norma Kuhling) about her weeks of questionable behavior, especially since both of them only have three episodes left?
These are all storylines fans have seen before and know well by now, but they should be moving toward closure, because the season itself is approaching the end. There’s not much longer any of these plotlines can continue!

That’s good news in a few situations—it feels like everyone, including Choi and the fans, are over the whole Bernie situation. Emily (recurring guest star Arden Cho) deserves better, even if she doesn’t seem to realize that. And Ava’s situation has needed clarity for a while now. What has she actually done so that we know who she actually is?
Fans who watch all three One Chicago shows will also enjoy Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) making an appearance in “More Harm Than Good,” which you can see in a sneek peek by playing the video below. It’s usually not good news when Chicago PD shows up at Chicago Med, so how serious is this case of the week?
Watch the clip below and form your own opinion, then tune in tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT to see the full episode! With less than a month left, the stakes will only get higher.
