No One Chicago reruns on NBC schedule in June 2019
One Chicago fans won’t be able to catch up with their favorite shows this month, as NBC is not showing Chicago Fire, Chicago PD or Chicago Med in June.
One Chicago viewers hoping to catch up on the episodes they’ve missed won’t be able to do it on NBC, which is keeping the franchise off its primetime schedule in June 2019.
Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago PD are all completely absent from NBC’s airwaves for the entire month, after the series wrapped their seasons on May 22.
Instead of airing One Chicago reruns, the network’s Wednesday schedule has been given over to new episodes of midseason shows. American Ninja Warrior fills the 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. hours while paranormal drama The Inbetween takes over at 10 p.m.
This isn’t really unexpected; broadcast TV networks have largely dropped the practice of showing reruns over the summer, as television has shifted to a year-round cycle of fresh content.

But in this case, it’s a little more surprising since many One Chicago viewers missed one or all of the season finales due to the severe weather that rolled through the country.
It would have been a nice bonus if NBC had repeated the finales, perhaps on a Saturday night, to give fans who weren’t able to see them a second chance. Instead, they’ll have to check out some digital and on demand options here.
Viewers who want their Chicago PD fix can find reruns on cable channels like ION and Oxygen due to the show’s syndication deal that was reached in 2018. Unfortunately, Chicago Fire and Chicago Med aren’t in syndication, so there’s no way to watch them on TV this month.
