What’s happening in this week’s Chicago Fire episode? Find out about Badlands with the Chicago Fire season 8, episode 3 synopsis and teaser.
After a rough start to the year, things are finally starting to look up for the men and women of Chicago Fire as season 8 of NBC’s hit drama continues!
Following a short stint away, Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) makes her way back to Firehouse 51 this week, after Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) made the trek to Fowlerton to bring their friend home last week.
Judging by the synopsis for episode 3, “Badlands,” Brett will throw herself right back into action by assisting Foster in investigating the circumstances surrounding a juvenile detention center attack. Although Brett’s time in Fowlerton was brief, it will be nice to see Brett return to Firehouse 51 — and to see how her relationships develop upon returning.
Elsewhere in the episode, Firehouse 51 newcomer Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) enjoys his first day as a member of 51 and, judging by the promo featured below, Firehouse 51’s newest recruit will enjoy quite the eventful first day. Given the heroics displayed in his introduction, it should come as no surprise that Gallo will look to play hero during his first call. As for whether he’ll succeed in pulling off another stunning rescue or not, remains to be seen.
Just what else can be expected from the latest hour of Chicago Fire? Here’ how NBC officially describes episode 3, “Badlands”:
"“Brett and Foster question the suspicious circumstances surrounding a brutal attack at a juvenile detention center, which leaves them searching for the truth. A convoluted new technology installed inside Firehouse 51 tests everybody’s patience. Kidd gets chosen to represent the district at a leadership conference.”"
