Want to see what’s to come on the next episode of Chicago Fire? Look at scenes from Badlands with our Chicago Fire season 8, episode 3 photos.
NBC has released the official photos for season 8, episode 3 of Chicago Fire, and fans can expect quite a circus when Firehouse 51 performs a rescue at a local fair.
The October 9 episode, “Badlands,” will feature new recruit Blake Gallo (Alberto Rosende) in a bit of a predicament when he takes matters into his own hands to try and save a girl who is trapped on a carnival ride.
His fellow firefighters, including Captain Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer), Lieutenant Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), and Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) are seen standing by, watching the chaos unfold up above.
While the promo features the epic rescue mission, NBC’s press release mentions other happenings within 51, including Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) being chosen to represent the firehouse at a leadership conference. Her spirit and quick wit make her the perfect candidate for the job.
Another person viewers can expect to see being spotlighted is Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer), who is finally back in Chicago after spending the first two episodes in Fowlerton.
According to the episode description, Brett and Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh) question the circumstances surrounding an attack at a juvenile detention center. Perhaps their suspicions are what call Chicago PD‘s Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) to the scene, as she’s shown in one of the promotional photos.
As for the aforementioned save? By the looks of the promo, Gallo’s eagerness to prove himself may cost him a quality rescue; but could it lead to his demise before he barely even begins his firehouse career?
While fans don’t have to worry about Rosende going anywhere (he’s signed on as a recurring character this season), given the recent loss 51 has faced, perhaps getting reprimanded by Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) would be in his best interest. Better to be safe than sorry.
