When we last caught up with the Chicago Med team, Gaffney Chicago Medical Center suffered a power outage in the midst of a storm. With the lights out, our favorite doctors and nurses were forced to think on their feet in order to tend to their patients’ unique needs.

After last week’s blackout, the Chicago Med team return to a more routine week of work, but don’t expect the drama to lessen just because there’s no major crisis affecting the hospital.

This week, expect tensions to rise between several pairs including Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto), as Will calls Natalie’s treatment plans into question. Speaking of doubting one’s abilities, expect some friction between Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) and Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson), after Sharon assigns a nurse to shadow Maggie at work.
