The next Chicago PD is going to turn Kim Burgess’s world upside down, according to NBC‘s official description of the episode and the promo that they’ve released for it.

Wednesday’s installment “No Regrets” centers on Burgess (Marina Squerciati), who injures herself while pursuing a suspect and then gets a big surprise afterward. It’s just nice to see a Burgess episode, when she hasn’t been getting as much attention this season with more of the focus on their other female characters.

Meanwhile, Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) has a moral dilemma, but One Chicago fans can likely guess what path Voight will take. This is a guy who tends to ignore the law in favor of his own personal code more often than not, so will this episode just be more of what this show does often? Or have we finally found a situation where Voight will decide to play by someone else’s rules?
