Chicago Med continues to have tension between doctors in “Just A River In Egypt.” Here’s the Chicago Med season 5, episode 19 synopsis and promo.
This week’s episode is another one where the hospital is not the nicest place to work. Fans who aren’t interested in the Chexton psuedo-triangle won’t be excited, because this is another one in which Dr. Ethan Choi (Brian Tee) has issues with Dr. Crockett Marcel (Dominic Rains).
Choi is continuing to struggle with the fact that his fiancee April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta) kissed Crockett, but this episode will finally include some consequences for his ongoing frustration.

Executive producers and showrunners Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider shared in our interview that Choi’s behavior will draw the renewed attention of his boss, Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson).
Hopefully she’ll do more than just tell him that she understands where his feelings are coming from, because this whole Choi, Marcel and April thing has caused plenty of problems for everyone involved.
Elsewhere in Chicago Med, the show’s newest couple is working together again, so how will Dr. Hannah Asher (recurring guest star Jessy Schram) continue to fit into the show?
She seems like she’s clean and happy now, but will there be a curveball that pops up considering that this series loves relationship drama? We’ll have to watch and find out.

"Dr. Charles evaluates a 15-year old who is brought into the ED after an apparent fall off an overpass. Will sides with Dr. Asher on a risky treatment plan. Tensions run high between Dr. Choi and Dr. Marcel."
