Chicago Med’s Patti Murin narrating new Jodi Picoult audiobook
Patti Murin narrates Jodi Picoult’s upcoming The Book of Two Ways.
Chicago Med fans will get to hear Patti Murin narrate a new audiobook this fall, as she lends her voice to the newest Jodi Picoult novel.
Patti, who recurred as pathologist Dr. Nina Shore in the One Chicago universe, narrates the audio version of Picoult’s The Book of Two Ways.
The novel releases on Sept. 22, but is already available for pre-order through Amazon.

In The Book of Two Ways, Jodi Picoult tells the story of Dawn Edelstein, who begins to second-guess all of her life choices after surviving a plane crash.
She is torn between resuming her comfortable life in Boston with her husband and daughter, or searching out the ex-boyfriend and career she left behind 15 years earlier.

In Sliding Doors-style fashion, Picoult shows Dawn’s two potential lifetimes side by side, while also going into questions about life, death and the afterlife.
This is the second audiobook that Patti has narrated; she co-narrated Christina Lauren’s romance The Honey-Don’t List with Jon Root, which was released in March.
But this is the first book that she’s recorded on her own, and it sounds like it has a very intriguing and emotional story.
While she hasn’t been seen in the One Chicago world since Chicago Med season 4, Patti has been busy with a number of other projects. She originated the role of Anna in Disney’s smash hit Frozen: The Broadway Musical and appeared in the Hallmark Channel original movie Holiday for Heroes.
Most importantly, she and Colin Donnell (who portrayed Dr. Connor Rhodes on Med through the start of season 5) recently welcomed their first child, daughter Cecily.
It’s great to see that even more opportunities are opening up for Patti Murin, who’s incredibly talented and has a remarkable range. While there will always be room for Nina Shore if she ever returns, it’s even more exciting to see her career take off the way it has. And The Book of Two Ways is yet another intriguing line on her resume.
